Sharp ELD offers a comprehensive solution for drive tracking, specifically designed for motor carrier companies. It effectively assists in managing Hours of Service (HOS) and simplifies the processes associated with DOT and DVIR inspections. The application adheres to current legislation, including the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR) for U.S. drivers and the Ministry of Transportation (MOT) standards for Canadian drivers. It is compatible with the standard PT30 device and connects seamlessly via Bluetooth.

The Sharp ELD app facilitates the collection and storage of essential truck and trip data in a centralized location. This includes driving time, statuses, fuel reports, odometer offsets, stops, locations, and more. Additionally, it features a built-in DVIR interface, enabling drivers to indicate whether their vehicle is safe for operation. Drivers can also certify their records, examine unidentified records, and conveniently transfer reports to safety officials to ensure compliance during DOT inspections. Furthermore, the application accommodates co-drivers, allowing them to drive in pairs while logged in from the same device.
